He was previously a member of the "Red Report Army". After the war, he became a gang in Tokyo and is famous for
fighting. After his battle with Kenshin, he turned to be a member of Kamiya Dojo, and become a friend of Kenshin. 
Since the "Red Report Army" was eliminated by the Meiji army, he hated the Meiji government. He has participated
in many battles together with Kenshin against the rivals. 

My opinion of him is that, sadly, he doesn't seem to be very useful, meaning he is always like the supporting actor in
the show...poor guy. I think he should fight with a weapon, using fist makes him look stupid..
